Spain wants to keep conventional cages

At the recent IEC conference in Seville, Spain, Maria del Mar Fernandez Poza reviewed the current state of egg production in her home country. There are some differences from other EU countries, particularly in respect of the widespread acceptance of battery cages for laying hens.
