Ten years egg type breeding-Then and Now

Over the past ten years, the layer business has seen many changes. Bird performance has improved, shifts between white and brown shell eggs have taken place and, most importantly, the number of companies involved in commercial layer breeding has dropped from over ten to basically three major players.
