Ajanla Farms serves the Nigerian parent stock market!

04-Nov-2011

Ajanla Farms, part of CHI ltd Nigeria, organized a parent stock technical seminar in Ibadan’s Premier hotel. About 80 parent stock farms sent their technical managers from all over Nigeria and teamed up to attend the technical sessions.

It was a highly motivated group of farmers who have heavily invested in building quality farms and hatcheries to serve the layer- and broiler industry of this populous country. The time for hobby farming is over and the Nigerian sector has highly professionalized to meet the ever growing demand for quality parent stock.

Guest speakers from ISA (Paul van de Ven), Arbor Acres (Alain Silvin and Mohsen Ganjaei) and Vitamex (Frank de Geest) filled the program with various  interesting subjects. Extra time was slotted in for an interactive session to allow farmers to share their management issues in the different corners of Nigeria. On request of the farmers it has been agreed that this parent stock seminar will be repeated annually.
